D'Artagnan Sweet and Savory Green Beans with Duck Bacon

This recipe can easily be doubled or more for a holiday crowd.
Ingredients
  • 1 28 Ounce Package of Frozen or Fresh Cut Green Beans
  • ¼ Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
  • 1 Package of D'Artagnan Uncured Smoked Duck Bacon
Instructions
  1. Place Green Beans in a 6 or 7 Quart Slow Cooker
  2. Place the Brown Sugar, Garlic, and Onion Powder on top of the beans and stir to combine.
  3. Cook on low for 3 hours.
  4. While the Green Beans are cooking fry up the D'Artagnan Uncured Smoked Duck Bacon in a frying pan.
  5. Drain the grease from the bacon on paper towels.
  6. Cut the D'Artagnan Uncured Smoked Duck Bacon in small pieces. I used kitchen shears.
  7. Add the bacon to the green beans after 3 hours and cook for an additional hour.
