Quick and Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce - Juggling Real Food and Real Life
  • 2 tablespoons butter (Make sure it is not margarine)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (I like to use organic)
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated or shredded Parmesan cheese (the Real stuff really makes this recipe)
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  1. Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium heat stirring with a wooden spoon.
  2. Add garlic. Saute for a minute.
  3. Add cream. Keep stirring.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese. Keep stirring.
  5. Add salt and pepper. Keep stirring.
  6. Stir until all cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly. Do not overcook.
  7. Serve tossed with your favorite whole wheat pasta.
We recommend organic ingredients where possible.
