Quick and Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce - Juggling Real Food and Real Life

- 2 tablespoons butter (Make sure it is not margarine)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (I like to use organic)
- ⅔ cup freshly grated or shredded Parmesan cheese (the Real stuff really makes this recipe)
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium heat stirring with a wooden spoon.
- Add garlic. Saute for a minute.
- Add cream. Keep stirring.
- Add Parmesan cheese. Keep stirring.
- Add salt and pepper. Keep stirring.
- Stir until all cheese is melted and sauce thickens slightly. Do not overcook.
- Serve tossed with your favorite whole wheat pasta.
