Cozy up to the flavors of fall with these light and fluffy Pumpkin Spice Waffles! Made with real pumpkin and just the right blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, they’re the perfect weekend breakfast for the whole family. 1. Preheat waffle iron.
2. In a large bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients – flour baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice
3. In a separate bowl or 4 cup liquid measuring cup, mix together the buttermilk, eggs, milk, melted butter, pumpkin puree, maple syrup and vanilla.
4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Mix well until all combined. You will want a heavy wooden spoon to stir. The batter will be thick.
5. Ladle batter into waffle maker and cook according to waffle maker directions.
6. Serve warm with real maple syrup.
