4th of July Party Favors for Kids

The following post includes Amazon affiliate links.  That means a small portion of your purchase will be paid to me as a commission.  The price is the same for you.  I like to share these links to help support the cost of running this blog and to be a resource to you.  I like to make things easy for you and as always…..keep it real.

Summer is the time many of us like to up our entertaining game. School is out and the weather is nice which just puts us all in the mood to socialize with friends and family. If your goal is to be a little “extra”, but you are too busy for complicated, you’ve come to the right place.  4th of July is coming quick so today I’m sharing a really easy party favor that will make sure your young guests have a good time at your 4th of July picnic.

The party favors come together quickly with a quick trip to the Dollar Tree or an Amazon order. Grab a brightly colored plastic sand bucket for each child attending the party, tissue paper, curly ribbon and fun summer toys, sunglasses, crafts, and snacks.

Here are some ideas of the items we chose for our 4th of July party favor buckets. Click on any of the items and it will take you to Amazon so you can see more detail on what I am talking about.

  • sunglasses
  • bubbles
  • Pop Rocks
  • Party Poppers
  • gummy snacks
  • Americana craft kits
  • bracelet Kits
  • patriotic wand craft
  • glow sticks
  • light up necklace
  • pinwheels
  • relay race toy

It’s a good idea to customize your buckets based on the age of the children attending. Some items should be reserved for older children or used only with adult supervision. Another customization idea for the 4th of July, is to look for items that are red, white and blue. Like I said, we are trying to be a little extra here.

I hope you are enjoying your summer. It’s hard to believe we are halfway through the summer already. What are some of your favorite 4th of July party traditions. What would you add to your party favor bucket? Share your ideas in the comments below and let’s build our Jugging community of friends. Can’t wait to hear from you.  You can also follow us over on Facebook and Instagram for more fun ideas and conversation.
