Welcome, friends! If you’ve been around Juggling Real Food and Real Life for a while, you know that eating real food is at the heart of what we do here. And if you’re new—welcome! You’re in the right place. Today, we’re kicking off a brand-new 10-Week Real Food Challenge designed especially for busy moms who want to feed their families better without losing their minds in the process. I am combining everything I have learned over the years from previous challenges and personal experience and setting up this program to make it even easier to follow.
Why Join the Challenge?
Let’s be honest: moms are busy. Between school drop-offs, sports practices, work, laundry, and that never-ending pile of dishes, it’s easy to feel like you’re barely surviving mealtime. Maybe dinner has turned into a fast-food run, maybe your mornings start with sugar-loaded cereal, or maybe you just feel stuck in the rut of processed convenience food. No judgement here. I’ve been where you are.
That’s exactly why I created this challenge. Real food doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, with just a few simple shifts, it can actually make your life easier. This challenge breaks it all down into small, manageable weekly steps. Instead of trying to overhaul your whole kitchen overnight, we’ll tackle one habit at a time.
By the end of 10 weeks, you’ll feel more organized, more confident in your food choices, and more connected at the family table. Eating real food will just feel “normal”.
What is Real Food?
Let’s clear this up right away: real food is healthy food.
It’s not a fad, a special diet, or something only “health nuts” do. Real food is simply food that:
- Comes from nature, not a factory. Think apples, not apple-flavored snacks.
- Is minimally processed. Whole grains, fresh veggies, real cheese—not neon-colored powders or unpronounceable chemicals.
- Nourishes your body. Packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and good energy that actually keeps you going all day.
When you eat real food, you’re not just filling bellies—you’re building health. You’re lowering your family’s risk of disease, fueling your kids’ brains for school, and giving everyone the energy they need for sports, homework, and those after-dinner dance parties in the kitchen.
Why Moms Love the Real Food Challenge
This challenge is made with busy moms in mind. Here’s why it works:
- It’s manageable. One simple step each week—no crash course, no overwhelm.
- It’s family friendly. Real food is for everyone, from toddlers to teens (and husbands, too!).
- It’s flexible. We follow the 80/20 rule: aim for real food 80% of the time and don’t stress about perfection.
- We’re supportive. You’re not going to be doing this alone. Each week, you’ll get practical tips, encouragement, and doable ideas that fit real life.
What You Can Expect
Over the next 10 weeks, we’ll cover everything from getting organized to swapping out sugary drinks, reading labels, eating more fruits and veggies, and even planning real-food breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. By the end, you’ll have a solid foundation of real food habits that you can keep building on.
This isn’t about guilt. This isn’t about perfection. This is about progress, confidence, and giving your family the gift of better health—without adding more stress to your already full plate.
Start with Week 1 (Coming Sunday): Let’s Get Organized and let’s take this journey together.
Because when moms feel confident in the kitchen, everybody wins.
