Juggling Real Food and Real Life Presents………Little Family Adventure’s Tropical Smoothie

Our last finalist in this years Juggling Real Food and Real Life Smoothie Competition is Nicky from Little Family Adventure.  She is one of my best blogging friends and someone I often turn to for both food and blogging advice.  Yes, it’s true.  I begged her to give me a recipe for this year’s smoothie competition.  She has wonderful recipes over on her blog Little Family Adventure. The recipes often have an international flair to them and I just can’t get enough of her Poppy Seed dressing.  You have got to try it! She has to be sick of me talking about it all of the time.  Take a look at her smoothie recipe below and then head over to Little Family Adventure for food, travel, and lots of fun.

Nicky from Little Family Adventure

Now, here is Nicky……………

Nicky, at Little Family Adventure, is a wife, homeschooling mom of 3, cook, and blogger.  Her family is dedicated to eating fresh, local, and organic food. They refuse to use any heavily processed foods and choose to cook from scratch. She knows that cooking like this takes a bit more work to cook this way, but she says her family’s health is worth it.

Her husband served 20 years in the US military. They have lived on both the east and west coasts, as well as a few places in between. She can usually be found gardening, reading, cooking, or planning their next vacation or trip. They love to travel and expose their children to different places and people. They live by the motto “Sometimes the best things in life are the most unexpected”. For her, the fun is in the journey.
Tropical Smoothie

Enjoy a taste of the tropics with this Tropical Smoothie. You’ll love this blend of classic island flavors; mango, pineapple, coconut, and banana.
Smoothies are great for breakfast. If you’re in a rush, just whip them up in your blender, pour into a glass or lidded jar, and you’re off. It’s a healthy way to get fruit into your diet.

I haven't tried coconut milk yet either, but I am excited to give it a try.
