Today’s Recipe: Quick Ideas for Real Life

Let’s be honest — the word “snack” can mean a lot of things. Sometimes it’s a handful of chips you find in the car, sometimes it’s your kid’s leftover granola bar, and occasionally (on a really good day) it’s something that actually fuels you.

If your days look anything like mine — juggling work, kids, schedules, and approximately 14 water bottles snacks have to be quick, satisfying, and made from real food. That’s where today’s favorite comes in: High Protein Mini Sweet Peppers Stuffed with Cottage Cheese and “Everything but the Bagel” Seasoning.

Why This Snack Works for Real Life

It’s fast.

It’s fresh.

And it actually keeps you full.

The mini sweet peppers are crisp and colorful. They are basically nature’s snack cups. Adding the cottage cheese gives you a big boost of protein to help you power through the afternoon slump. Sprinkle on some Everything but the Bagel seasoning and suddenly you’ve got flavor, crunch, and satisfaction… no drive-thru required.

How to Make Them

You’ll Need:

  • Mini sweet peppers
  • Cottage cheese 
  • Everything but the Bagel seasoning

Directions:

  1. Wash and slice your mini sweet peppers in half lengthwise.
  2. Scoop a spoonful of cottage cheese into each half.
  3. Sprinkle generously with Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
  4. Snack immediately or pack them up for later.

That’s it! You’ve got a high-protein, real-food snack ready in under 5 minutes. Perfect for after school, pre-baseball practice munchies, or when you’re trying to resist the vending machine at work.
