Easy Breakfast Smoothies

When I want to make a quick breakfast, I make a smoothie. My toddler and I both love them. I keep several bags of frozen fruit in my freezer for this purpose.
To make the smoothie preparation even faster, you can measure out all of your ingredients the night before. This will allow you to throw everything in the blender without measuring every ingredient.
This is a great recipe to make with your kids. My daughter always helps me make smoothies in the morning. I let her put the ingredients in the blender. She really enjoys helping out.

Easy Breakfast Yogurt Smoothie Recipe

1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 banana
1/2 cup fat free vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 cup coconut milk (or regular milk)
1 tsp honey

Blend all of the ingredients together. If you prefer, you can add additional milk to thin out the smoothie. Now it’s your turn………..leave your comments below and cast your vote for Jessica’s Easy Breakfast Yogurt Smoothie Recipe.  Check back for our other competitors each day this week.  There are going to be more great recipes for you to check out.

Looks delicious! I love the idea of getting a toddler involved in preparing real food. Wish I had started with my kids when they were that young!

You are so right Gaye……..the younger the better. However, I think you can teach kids about food and cooking at any age. I sure hope so anyway! I don't want to give up on my teenager. He is way too adorable to feed only junk food. I'm glad you like Jessica's recipe. More smoothie recipes are coming each day this week.

Hi Christina! Saw your blog on the Ohio Blogging Association's facebook page and wanted to jump over to say hi! I was actually going to make blueberries smoothies tonight for the husband and toddler but I might have to add strawberries and blackberries in also!

This smoothie looks absolutely delicious and inviting. I've been drinking a lot of smoothies, including green ones this year. Thank you for sharing and hope you win.

Hi Sue. Thanks for stopping by and casting your vote for Jessica. I hope you come back to visit us often. I am just getting in to green smoothies. I was surprised that my non-vegetable eater would actually drink a green smoothie. He kind of liked the "monster green" color.

I agree. There is just something about the color of blueberries.

You are so right Lizbeth. Beautiful and nutritious. Just because it is healthy, doesn't mean it has to be ugly. LOL! This recipe certainly is both.
