Are you tired of being too busy to get everything done? What if I told you that clutter may actually be the problem? If you haven’t clicked away from this article already, you are in luck. I have the answer to so many of our mothering frustrations. Time and time again I have been frustrated because I can’t find……………baseball hat, dance shoes, insert your frustration here. I run around like a crazy woman trying to find what I am looking for, but there is so much mess that I end up running late and yelling at my kids when I really don’t want to be yelling. Can you relate?
Is Clutter to blame?
I have been experimenting with decluttering my home. I carry a lot of baggage about my “things” so this is not an easy project for me, but I have been thrilled with the results so far. Thrilled enough that I want to rally the troops and have you join me in this 40 day project. I am learning that less really can be more. More time with my family, more time to prepare the real food that is so important to my family’s health, more time with my husband, and more time to just relax. These are things that I previously thought were impossible with my busy family schedule.
If you have had “enough with the stuff” then here is how you get started.
- Make a list of areas you want to declutter.
- Follow Juggling Real Food and Real Life by email. You can register at the top of this page for the newsletter.
- Join our special Facebook group where you can share your progress, get motivation, and support others.
- Start tossing!
My friends and I will be here to help. We will provide daily prompts and motivation. Look for the prompts each day.
Your home shouldn’t stress you out. Let’s declutter together and make sure our homes are our sanctuaries. Share this with your friends and let’s see how much stuff (dare I say crap) we can get rid of over the next 40 days.
