Bag a Deal & Give A Chick: Trades of Hope Promotion

Trades of Hope has just announced my favorite deal of the year!  I can’t wait to share it with you.  If you don’t know Trades of Hope yet, today that changes.  They are this super cool group that I was introduced to just about a year ago and I have been excited to work with ever since.  Trades of Hope creates dignified, sustainable work so women can leave the sex trade, slums, and extreme poverty. As a Compassionate Entrepreneur I partner with these women to sell their ethically made products and spread hope across the United States.  My daughter and I are all about “girl power” and Trades of Hope is a perfect way for us to do good simply by shopping. Your purchase helps these artisans to :

 •have safe dignified working conditions
 •financial stability and independence
 •education for women and children
 •develop their communities
 •health and counseling services

Now for the deal!

Starting May 24th, 9 am EST until June 4th, 11:59 pm EST all handbags in stock are 20% off and with each handbag sold, a chick will be donated to a family overseas.  Yes, I said it.  A chick will be donated in your name.  How cool is that??  Just use this link to get to the right spot.

Trades of Hope knows that many families overseas struggle with being malnourished and do not have the means to purchase food. A chicken’s eggs can be a good source of nutrition and be an extra source of income to help sustain a family.  Eggs have a very good source of protein, vitamin A, and many other important nutrients.

And now it gets even cooler………

A typical laying hen produces about 200 eggs each year. Once grown, an average of 40 chicks can supply a family with approximately 8,000 eggs every year! Families in countries like Africa make daily trips to the henhouse, collecting enough eggs to cook a healthy meal, with some left over to sell. Your purchase of a beautiful Trades of Hope bags helps a family to eat and provides them with a means to earn income for their family.  Did I tell you the bags are awesome yet?  Well, they are!

Ok, one more time………..All bags are 20% off and when you purchase a bag,  you will also be giving a baby chick to a family overseas. A chicken’s eggs are a good source of nutrition and be an extra source of income to help sustain a family.  Just use this link to get all of the details.

The perfect weekender!

My favorite cross body bag for summer!

Look great this summer!

An adorable turtle bag for the kiddos!

I have set a goal for the Juggling Real Food and Real Life community.  I would like to see us donate 12 baby chicks.  I will keep you updated on our progress on our Juggling Real Food and Real Life Facebook page.  Watch for your purchase to be added to the tally over there.  I know we have a great community here and I know you will want to be a part of this fantastic promotion.  Together we can make a difference in the lives of so many.  Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could donate two dozen chicks?  Yes, I get very excited over this stuff.  Come on ladies, check out all that Trades of Hope had to offer and let’s start donating some baby chicks!  Make sure you use this link so I can keep count and leave me a comment and let me know which bag is your favorite.
